If your company has a qualified supervisor or safety officer then a forklift train-the-trainer certification class is a practical choice for you. If your company needs to train forklift operators on an ongoing basis, then training one or more employees as instructors may be your best solution. Our Forklift Instructor Training course provides a three-year operator license as well as instructor certification. Training consists of operator certification and classroom training. This course comprises classroom instruction, including discussion and a written test, as well as hands-on practical training and evaluation. Upon completing the course, the operator will be presented with a lift truck certificate as proof of training. This course demonstrates proper forklift operation techniques following Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance regulations. Applicant must have the ability to earn a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Application Requirements: To be considered for admission into the Electrical Lineworker Program, you must meet the following requirements: Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of $50. Applicants must be 18 years old at the start of training. Complete the online Lineworker Program application . Valid Driver's License : You must provide a copy of a valid driver’s license. Class A CDL Eligibility : You should have the ability to earn a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Education : You must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. TABE Assessment : You must achieve an NRS Level 4 or better on the TABE Assessment. You can register for the TABE Assessment by contacting Karen Craven with GNTC Adult Education. If you do not score a Level 4 or better on your first attempt, you will be required to complete 40 hours of study before being allowed to retake the assessment. DOT physical must be provided by a physician on the DOT Registry. To locate a registered physician near you, visit DOT Registry . Obtain your physical AFTER you receive your CLP. Provide proof of a passed five-panel drug screen within 30 days from the start of training. A drug screen must be administered by a physician on the DOT Registry , preferably from the same location as your DOT physical. Drug screens cannot be accepted more than 30 days from the start of training Submit a satisfactory seven-year motor vehicle report (MVR) within 30 days from the start of training. Residential Basic Contractors For the lowest tier of contractor in Georgia, which is the Licensed Residential Basic Contractor, the state requires three hours of continuing education each year. Because this role involves greater responsibilities, the need for continuing education is also larger. Georgia requires six hours of continuing education for Residential Light Commercial Contractors each year. Heartsaver courses are designed to be flexible and customizable with optional modules. They are intended for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for a job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. We offer the Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED course, which includes the fundamental concepts of providing high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and rendering basic first aid as needed for selected medical emergencies, injuries, and environmental emergencies.  The course is designed for participants who are not healthcare providers and who would like to gain the basic skills needed that might save a life or prevent further injury. With the right training and credentials, this field offers strong earning potential and steady demand—making it a great time to begin your driving career. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requires new Class B CDL applicants to complete ELDT, which includes both theory and behind-the-wheel (BTW) instruction. This course fulfills all required ELDT theory (knowledge) training outlined in 49 CFR Part 380, Special Training Requirements. You’ll study: Basic vehicle operation Safe driving procedures Advanced operating practices Vehicle systems and malfunction reporting Essential non-driving responsibilities This program was developed with an approved provider listed on FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry (TPR). After You Complete the Course Once you pass the final exam, your ELDT theory completion will be automatically submitted to the U.S. Department of Transportation Training Provider Registry. After completing BTW training and other requirements, you may take your state CDL skills test. Successful testing results in a state-issued CDL and eligibility for employment operating Class B commercial vehicles. Important Notes This course satisfies ELDT theory requirements only .
