Course Description

Learn the basics on CAT simulators with a focus on bulldozer and excavator operation. Online assignments are required. Computer and internet access are necessary. This training will provide foundational knowledge/skills for a career in heavy equipment construction.

Upon successful completion of this training, participants will earn:

  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Card (Provided online and card mailed within 6 weeks) 10 Hours
  • DOT Flaggin Certification (Provided online) 4 Hours
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Car (Provided in-person) 4 Hours
  • CAT Simulator Certificate of Completion (Provided with online modules and in-person simulator time with instructor) 40 Hours

Entrance Requirements

  1. Computer with internet access.
  2. Must be able to physically operate heavy equipment, including using hands and feet to handle, control, and feel controls.
  3. Basic reading and writing skills.
